Amano Shrimp

The famous algae-eating shrimp popularised by Takashi Amano. Larger and bolder than cherry shrimp, and safe with most peaceful fish — but their larvae need brackish water, so they never overpopulate.

• Happy alone or as a compatible pair; avoid crowding with conspecifics.
